Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) International Arrivals Facility (IAF) is a 450,000-square-foot addition to the airport. The facility features 11 flight gates and an elevated sterile corridor raised nearly 32 feet above the apron level (the airplane and vehicle zone).
The scope includes the construction of a bridge that spans 780 linear feet over the existing taxi lane and connects the IAF to the airport’s South Satellite Terminal. Prefabricated offsite, the bridge was installed within a seven-day time frame and offers views of Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains. HPM was tapped to provide Audit & Contract services throughout the life of the project, leading to significant cost savings for the owner.
