Co-ops in Construction Management: Kickstart Your Career with HPM
HPM is excited and ready to meet new potential co-ops, interns and employees at campus career fairs this fall.
For students and entry-level employees in construction and engineering, deciding where to gain early experience is essential for shaping careers and securing long-term employment after graduation.
At HPM, our co-op and intern programs are designed to give students real-life, meaningful experience in construction management. This way, students walk away with a full understanding of the company and what we offer. Our co-ops and interns are HPM employees, and we strive to provide valuable experience and insights to set them up for success and, hopefully, provide long-term employment.

- Emerging Leaders Summer Seminar – The Emerging Leaders Summer Seminar is just one example of how our leaders prioritize connection with our teams at every level, offering training, valuable insights, and advice on career building in this industry. This program gives our co-ops and interns a week-long chance to connect with HPM leadership at multiple levels to gain knowledge that will put you ahead early in your career.
- On-site, comprehensive experience – We believe in the value of exploring multiple areas of the company throughout each co-op rotation and exploring as much as possible during internships. Whether you’re in the office or out in the field, you’ll collaborate with different teams, work on active projects, and see firsthand how construction management comes to life. This approach gives you a complete view of our work and culture before making any long-term commitments.
- Paid positions – Our co-ops and interns are valued team members during their time with HPM, and we believe in proper compensation for your time and efforts. We want you focused on learning, growing, and contributing—not worrying about outside employment during your time with us.
