Meet Adam Bergantino: HPM Audit & Advisory’s New Cost Engineer

June 24, 2025

HPM’s Audit & Advisory recently added Adam Bergantino, Cost Engineer, to their team. With a background in project management, estimation, consulting, and more, Adam’s is a valuable addition to the group. We sat down with him to learn more about his professional journey, the projects that have shaped his career, and what he’s most excited about as he begins this new chapter at HPM.

Welcome to the team! Can you tell us about your career and your previous experience working with audit/advisory in the construction industry?

I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in construction systems management. I then worked as a project manager/estimator for a steel subcontractor for two years before moving into the cost engineering and consulting world. I have spent the last three years specializing in change order reviews.

What are some projects you’ve worked on that you’re most proud of?

My most notable would be the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream (MCAAD) in Washington, D.C. The project combined three existing buildings located next to The White House to become an interactive museum and conference center.

How will your new role support the Audit & Advisory team?

I will be full-time dedicated to the Micron ID1 project, assisting with change order reviews, pay applications and anything else required to ensure a successful project.

What are you looking forward to in your new role with HPM?

I am looking forward to working with the best of the best in the construction auditing industry and soaking in as much knowledge as possible.

We’re thrilled to have Adam on board and are confident that his skills and experience will make a valuable impact on our Audit & Advisory team. Interested in learning more about how our team can support your next project? Contact HPM’s Audit & Advisory group today.
