Located adjacent to Naval Air Station Whiting Field, the new Leonardo Helicopters Florida Support Center is a 73,000-square-foot, purpose-built facility designed to provide comprehensive maintenance, logistics, and sustainment services for the U.S. Navy’s fleet of TH-73A training helicopters. The center also expands Leonardo’s customer support network to serve civil operators throughout the southeastern United States.
The state-of-the-art facility includes a full-size paint booth, a dynamic test bench for transmission repair, a warehouse for spare parts, and specialized tooling and fixtures to support both military and civil rotorcraft operations. As a strategic hub for Leonardo, the Florida Support Center enhances aircraft availability, reduces maintenance downtime, and ensures mission readiness—delivering industry-leading MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) solutions to military and commercial customers alike.
HPM provided Preconstruction Support and Program Mangement services to help keep Leonardo Helicopters on time and under budget.
