Del Buck

As Vice President of Preconstruction, Del provides overall leadership and direction by strategically planning, directing and coordinating activities pertaining to preconstruction services on all HPM accounts across the country. He is ultimately responsible for the consistency, quality, and strategic vision for all HPM preconstruction services. He and his team create budgets at all design iterations and control costs through design management and target value design. He provides value optimization feedback to the client and performs cost analysis based on the client’s budget and design. Del oversees and manages the deliverables to the client to ensure consistency and accuracy for all preconstruction services.

Del has 40 years of construction experience, primarily with large general contractors working both domestically and internationally. He has served as a Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Executive, Estimator, Senior Estimator, Chief Estimator, and for the last 22 years as VP of Estimating and Preconstruction. Del is certified by the American Institute of Estimating and FMI Leadership Program.
